Some may say I’m a little early. Here, CET, it’s barely midday. In my homeland however the first ‘New Year’s Eve Party Babies’ have already been created. Over the next 24 hours revellers will celebrate a new year. Yet again. Any excuse for a party.

Some will reflect on the past year. Some will project into the next. Many will wake the next morning wondering what the hell happened.

This past year I resurrected another XS650. It’s a rat. Goes well. Catches the eye. Attracts attention whenever parked in front of my momentary coffee hit. Next year I wish to build a long stroke big bore SR500 motor for my sidecar.

It’s been a pretty busy year on the blog. I’m still surprised at how much traffic it generates. Thanxs to those who have provided suggestions and comments (suggestions don’t get published – if your comment also hasn’t, be aware I have read it).
