XS650: 2014 – Happy New Year   1 comment

Some may say I’m a little early. Here, CET, it’s barely midday. In my homeland however the first ‘New Year’s Eve Party Babies’ have already been created. Over the next 24 hours revellers will celebrate a new year. Yet again. Any excuse for a party.

Some will reflect on the past year. Some will project into the next. Many will wake the next morning wondering what the hell happened.

This past year I resurrected another XS650. It’s a rat. Goes well. Catches the eye. Attracts attention whenever parked in front of my momentary coffee hit. Next year I wish to build a long stroke big bore SR500 motor for my sidecar.

It’s been a pretty busy year on the blog. I’m still surprised at how much traffic it generates. Thanxs to those who have provided suggestions and comments (suggestions don’t get published – if your comment also hasn’t, be aware I have read it).

So. In short. From me and mine to you and yours.

Happy New Year. Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahre. Godt nytår. Gelukkig nieuwjaar. Onnellista uutta vuotta. Bonne année. Kia hari te tau hou. Feliz año nuevo. Es guets Nöis …

Be careful what you wish for.

Don’t make any promises you can’t keep.

And. Above all …  Enjoy
