XS650: Haka II   Leave a comment

Haka. Most  non-New Zealanders have probably never heard of the haka. Those who have most likely associate it with the national rugby team. The All Blacks. Or the national rugby-league team. The Kiwis.

A Celebration. A Challenge. A Greeting. The Battle to come. A Sign of Respect. An outward display of inner thoughts and emotions.

I dont advocate war. Especially as an extension of corporate resource policy. Nor do I condone needless death.

Recently 3 New Zealand soldiers lost their lives in Afghanistan. Bamiyan Province. All members of the 2nd/1st Battalion Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment.

The Unit Haka. Kura Takahi Puni. Performed by their comrades. Burnham Military Camp. Christchurch.

Kia Kaha.
